Bizzy Becs Creatalicious Challenge #6

Bizzy Becs had a different type of challenge this month. No stamped images, you can stamp sentiments and use punches, diecuts and stickers (anything as long as it is not a stamped image or a digi image). The DT did a wonderful job with their cards, very creative. I used my craft robo to cut the heart and heart florish, embossed the heart with the cuttlebug. Used Martha Steward punch for the hearts along the edge. The heart ribbon was from my stock pile.

Flutter by Wednesday Challenge

I am Using this card in the Flutter by Wednesday Challenge #93 , this weeks challenge is to use embossing--any kind--with your butterfly, fairy or angel! I used a House Mouse Stamp "Take Time to Smell the Flowers" I colored with Prisma and OMS. The paper is from K & Company - Sweet Talk. The little butterfly I also colored with Prismas and added a little sparkle with diamond dust from SU. I embossed the flap with swirls using the cuttlebug.
I designed this card a little different from most. The flap flips up to reveal the message.

Fun with an Easel

I have seen several of these easel cards so I had to give it a try. You can find a tutorial over at Splitcoaststampers. They are alot of fun to make and very easy to assemble. I used a sweet Tilda for this card, I colored her with Prisma and OMS. Also I added a little touch of stickels to her wing, just a sparkle to her cheek and the center of the rose. The papers I used were from several Basic Grey packs. I used my craft robo to cut out the heart flowers and the corner embellishments.
Thank you for stopping by please leave a comment.

Love is in the air!!!

Valentine Day is just around the corner, so I got an early start on my cards. I am having a great time with the 3D cards I had to do another. This little guy is a Happy Hoppers from House Mouse Designs. This is "Love Bunny" with Itty Bit and Hop it, I used Pisma color and OMS to color this design. The paper I used for the Background was Bittersweet from Basic Grey. I just love this Martha Steward Heart punch, then I used Diamond Dust from Stampin up for an added touch. I also used the cuttlebug for the embossing of the heart background paper. This card was alot of fun to make, by using the pop dots it gives dimension to the card.
Thank you for dropping by will be bring some more new designs soon.

"Let It Snow"

I have been away from blogging for quit a while now. I am ready to get back into the swing of it again. I had not been making any cards for a while due to a knee replacement. I have missed seeing what everybody had been creating but this week I have been checking some of you out. The cards I have seen are just so beautiful and creative, thank you all for sharing your creative ideas with the rest of the world. So I got my creative juices flowing so today I created a new card.
With winter knocking at our door, I hope for some real snow. So I created a card with snow...

I did not have snow to build a snow person, so I did the next best thing, I used paper and stamps. I did a 3D effect with puff dots and layered the paper. I used my cuttlebug and spellbinder dies to cut out the center. The snowflake embossing was a cuttlebug embossing folder. Shy Bear is hiding behind a snowman, I used prisma color pencils to color the image. The little snow person was from a Stampin up set I have had for a while. The snowflakes were punch with the Martha Steward snowflake punch it makes the perfect snowflake. The Let it Snow ribbon is some I bought at Target for half price. I really like a bargin.
I hope to be posting more often now. Thank you for visiting.
